Global Factor is seeking a PV Project Engineer to lead technical due diligence, design review, and bid preparation for international solar projects. The role emphasizes travel to project sites and collaboration with diverse clients and partners.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc in Engineering (MSc preferred) and at least 3 years of PV/engineering experience, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with PVSyst. English fluency is required; French or Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• BSc in Engineering; MSc in Renewable Energy or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in PV/engineering roles.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct technical due diligence: PV resource analysis, grid connection, energy yield, site assessment.
• Review designs and approve main project design documentation.
• Assist with EOIs/pre-qualification dossiers and technical/financial offers in response to RfPs.
• Coordinate tasks for international technical assistance projects.
• Coordinate with public international clients such as L’Energètica, Asian Development Bank, European Commission, and World Bank.

Global Factor is seeking a PV Project Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Technical due diligence reports, including PV resource analysis, grid connection evaluation, technology, energy yield and site assessment.
• Design review, including the technical revision and approval of the main project design engineering documentation.
• Support preparation of Expressions of Interest / Pre‑qualification dossiers, technical and financial offers in reply to RfPs.
• Technical, administrative and logistical tasks for the management of international technical assistance projects.
• Coordinate functions and responsibilities for public international clients such as L’Energètica, Asian Development Bank, European Commission, Global Center for Adaptation, Green Climate Fund, World Bank, African Development Bank, Inter‑American Development Bank, and European Investment Bank.

Must‑Haves

• Ability to travel and stay short‑term on project sites on a project‑by‑project basis.

Education Requirements

• BSc in Engineering.
• MSC in Renewable Energy / Energy / Industrial Engineering is favorably considered.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar positions.

Languages

• English: Native or full professional proficiency.
• French and/or Spanish are favorably considered.
