Job summary

AVL Iberica Team seeks a Project Management and Design Engineer to join our Barcelona team. The role blends project management with design tasks across powertrain areas, coordinating suppliers and clients while tracking deadlines and progress.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (Master's a plus), strong English, and experience with CATIA/CREO. Knowledge of powertrain, 0–4 years in automotive, and teamwork are valued.

Joining the AVL Iberica Team, we are searching for highly motivated young engineers with a solid background in engineering fundamentals and a good level of English and Spanish to join our team in Barcelona.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position combines project management and design activities across different areas of the powertrain. The main responsibilities include:

• Management of design documentation and activity planning.
• Deadline management and follow-up of project activities.
• Coordination of supplier and client activities.
• Reporting and presentation of project progress.
• Management of design databases and 3D files.
• Analysis and handling of 3D CAD components .

YOUR PROFILE:
