A leading automotive technology firm in Valladolid is seeking a Driveability | Ride & Handling e-Powertrain Expert. This role involves calibrating e-powertrains, developing validation datasets, and executing vehicle tests. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, experience in powertrains, and proficiency in ETAS INCA and Matlab Simulink. Formación

Driveability | Ride & Handling e-Powertrain Expert

Job Description

• Calibration of e‑powertrain regarding torque demand, regenerative braking and other driveability related functions.
• Dataset development and validation to meet requirements in all ambient conditions.
• Planning and execution of a vehicle testing program.
• Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations.
• Reporting of results to the project board.

Profile Description

• Education: Mechanical/Automotive or similar Engineering degree.
• Master's or Ph.D. desirable.
• Provided understanding of powertrains and vehicle dynamics.
• Competences on ETAS INCA, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab Simulink.
• More than 5 years of automotive industry related topics (calibration, validation, software development) experience desirable.
• Expertise in e‑powertrain calibration (regenerative braking, torque vectoring, chassis dynamics, …)
• Knowledge of high‑voltage parts such as: BMS (Battery), Inverter (Electric Motor).
• English required; Spanish highly desirable; French is a plus.
• High sense of responsibility, goal‑oriented and social skills.
• Extra‑curriculum activities such as Formula Student are a plus.
• Driving license required.
