Job summary

AVL Iberica is seeking a Debug Engineer for Hybrid Powertrain to support operation and maintenance of software environments across engine benches, prototype vehicles, and customer vehicles. You will participate in calibration activities and ensure the continuous operation of hybrid powertrain development tools.

Responsibilities include supporting production and dealership processes, collaborating with calibration teams, and maintaining software for test benches and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or automotive engineering degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of calibration experience.
• Hybrid systems experience preferred.

At AVL Iberica, we are looking for a Debug Engineer Hybrid Powertrain to support the operation and maintenance of software environments used in engine benches, prototype vehicles and customer vehicles within hybrid powertrain projects

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your Mission

As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to keeping critical development and validation activities running smoothly by supporting technical teams across different stages of the vehicle lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

• Support production, end-of-line and dealership activities.
• Collaborate with calibration teams.
• Maintain the software of engine test benches, prototype vehicles and customer vehicles fully operational.
• Contribute to the daily operation of hybrid powertrain development activities

YOUR PROFILE:

Education

• Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar degree.
• Master's degree in automotive-related subjects is desirable.

Technical Background

• Understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics.
• Experience with:
  • ETAS INCA
  • AVL Concerto
  • AVL Creta
  • Vector CANalyzer
  • DDT2000
  • Matlab/Simulink or similar tools

Languages

• English and Spanish required
• French is a plus.Additional Requirements
• Driving Licence B mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience.
• Experience in hybrid systems preferred
