Penspen is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to lead cost control, planning, scheduling, and performance reporting for major oil, gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects. The role is based in Madrid, Spain, with potential travel to Al Khafji, KSA.

You may supervise engineer-grade personnel, work under a Lead Engineer, and collaborate with PMC teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction/Project Management and ARAMCO experience are essential.

Formación

• Extensive experience in project controls for large oil, gas or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in cost estimation, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience leading or supervising engineer-grade personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost control, planning and scheduling for major projects.
• Coordinate with PM, engineering and procurement teams to track progress.
• Ensure accurate performance reporting and forecasting.

Main Purpose Of The Role

The Project Controls Specialist may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Project Controls Specialist may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• 15 years of experience with Project Controls Specialist.


• 10 years with direct involvement in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, cost and budget control, procurement tracking and monitoring / forecasting of engineering and construction activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical/ building and infrastructure projects projects.


• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Construction /Project Management or Equivalent.


• ARAMCO experience essential!
