Penspen in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Procurement Engineer/Buyer for an 18-month contract, with potential travel to Al Khafji, KSA. The role sits within Core Engineering or PMC project teams and reports to a Lead Engineer.

You will manage procurement activities for major oil and gas projects, require ARAMCO experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with business procurement certification; salary is negotiable based on experience.

Formación

• 12 years of experience with project management procurement and supply activities.
• 4 years' experience managing materials procurement and tracking for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Background in contracts administration is required.
• Evidence of working with projects in excess of US$100 million+.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Diploma with a Certificate in Business Procurement.
• ARAMCO experience essential!

Responsabilidades

Main Purpose Of The Role

The Procurement Engineer/ Buyer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Procurement Engineer/ Buyer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• 12 years of experience with Project Management Procurement and Supply activities
• 4 years experience managing materials procurement and tracking activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Background on contracts administration is required.
• Only apply if you have evidence of working with Project in excess of (US $100 million plus).
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Business Procurement.
• ARAMCO experience essential!
