Joppy, a technology recruitment platform built for developers by developers, seeks a Product AI Engineer to craft AI-native product experiences with end-to-end ownership. You will help define specifications, craft AI Skills, and evaluate AI outputs, grounding responses with up-to-date data while keeping humans in control of critical decisions.

You will collaborate with Product and Design to embed AI into core UX, mentor peers, and share best practices in a fast-moving, multicultural environment.

Formación

• Proven track record shipping AI-powered features in product teams.
• Experience building AI-powered workflows with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and fast iteration.

Product AI Engineer – AI-Powered Business Management

The Team

The Operations domain is at the heart of this company, building systems that manage the day-to-day reality of work for thousands of businesses. These systems must be accurate, compliant, and reliable. Key workflows include:

• Employee time tracking, planning, and management
• Employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
• Organizational structure representation
• Compensation and payroll calculations

The mission: turn operational complexity into simple, AI-powered experiences that help companies run smoothly at scale while keeping humans in control of what matters most.

What You’ll Do

As a Product AI Engineer, you’ll help define and build the next generation of AI-native product experiences. You will:

• Build product using Spec Driven Development – define clear specifications before shipping, guiding implementation, iteration, and evaluation using powerful LLMs.
• Design and implement AI Skills – create reusable AI capabilities to safely automate actions within workflows.
• Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks – ensure AI outputs are accurate, reliable, and continuously improving.
• Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) – ground AI responses in trusted, up-to-date company data.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows – automate processes while keeping humans in control of critical decisions.
• Own systems end-to-end – from problem definition to shipping, monitoring, and iteration in production.
• Stay close to customers – regularly join customer calls and feedback sessions to ensure solutions solve real problems.
• Collaborate with Product and Design – embed AI into core user experiences, not just as a feature.
• Share knowledge and raise the bar – mentor peers, document learnings, and contribute to AI engineering best practices.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with:

LLMs, skill-based agents, MCP, or other AI protocols

• Strong software engineering fundamentals (any language, Python common)
• Experience shipping real products to production
• Knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, and system design
• Fast learning curve with new tools and technologies
