Vonage in Madrid is seeking a senior Performance Engineering Lead to define and execute strategy across high-availability cloud platforms. You will mentor SDETs, coordinate across feature teams, and build scalable performance frameworks using Python, Java, or TypeScript.

You will implement traffic replay, chaos testing with AWS Fault Injection Simulator, monitor with Grafana/CloudWatch, and embed performance into CI/CD pipelines to prevent latency regressions.

Formación

• Hands-on backend performance engineering with Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience in AWS-based cloud-native systems with scalability focus.
• Leads QA/SDET teams to plan and execute performance tests.
• Expertise in API performance testing and non-functional validation.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and log analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead performance engineering strategy for high-availability platforms.
• Coordinate distributed SDET guilds across feature teams and sprint cycles.
• Develop scalable performance frameworks and data-driven tests.
• Manage production traffic replay and realistic load generation.
• Drive CI/CD integration for performance validation and latency guards.
• Leverage Grafana, CloudWatch, and PMM for performance analysis.
