Vonage is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering team, focusing on the PaaS backend, cloud resource control, and scalable architecture design. You will contribute to new feature development and backend improvements with emphasis on quality, fault tolerance, and performance in real-time communications.

You will work on cloud-based API gateways, signaling systems, and distributed network architectures, leveraging Java 17, Spring Boot, and modern CI/CD practices to deliver

Formación

• Proficiency in Netty for high-performance networking.
• Spring Boot experience for scalable APIs.
• Hands-on with message brokers like Kafka, ZeroMQ, or RabbitMQ.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on software development and system design.
• Implement new features for cloud-based API Gateway, Media Control and Signaling systems.
• Contribute to architectures for distributed networks, resource optimization, and real-time processing.
• Design approaches to measure, evaluate and improve service quality.
• Collaborate on signalling fabric and coordinate with other teams.
• Embed AI-assisted engineering to accelerate delivery and share best practices.
