SoftwareOne is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to lead technical conversations, design Nutanix-based infrastructure, and shape hybrid data center solutions for enterprise customers. You will collaborate with sales, delivery teams, and vendors to ensure viable, profitable offerings while acting as the primary technical authority for Infrastructure & Services opportunities.

• Strong expertise in Nutanix technologies and solutions, with the ability to design and position Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions.
• Hybrid infrastructure / modern data center technologies including virtualization, servers, storage, backup, and data protection.
• Experience in Presales / Solutions Architect / Systems Engineer roles with customer interaction.
• Experience designing infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with engineering, management, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, translating technical concepts into business value.

Responsabilidades

• Actively engage with customers to identify technical pain points and modernization opportunities across data center and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Act as a Nutanix subject matter expert, positioning Nutanix-based solutions within broader hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Design and scope solutions across Nutanix, virtualization, servers, storage, backup, data protection, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, solution presentations, and customer-facing discussions.
• Translate customer requirements into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
• Own the creation and presentation of technical proposals and SoWs.
• Collaborate with sales, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure viable, competitive, and profitable solutions.

At SoftwareOne, our Pre-Sales Consultants are trusted technical leaders, not just support roles. You will join our Infrastructure & Services practice, working closely with sales, customers, vendors, and delivery teams to design modern, resilient, and efficient data centers and hybrid infrastructure solutions.

This role combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen, allowing you to influence customer strategy while ensuring every solution is technically sound, deliverable, and profitable. You will act as the primary technical authority for Infrastructure & Services opportunities, proactively identifying customer needs, shaping solution visions, and converting them into complete technology and services offerings that drive long-term customer value and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers to identify technical pain points and modernization opportunities across data center and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Act as a Nutanix subject matter expert, positioning Nutanix-based solutions within broader hybrid infrastructure environments
• Design and scope solutions across Nutanix, virtualization, servers, storage, backup, data protection, and hybrid infrastructure
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, solution presentations, and customer-facing discussions
• Translate customer requirements into technically sound and commercially viable solutions
• Own the creation and presentation of technical proposals and Statements of Work (SoW).
• Collaborate closely with sales, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are viable, competitive, and profitable
• Support the sales cycle end-to-end, from discovery through proposal and customer presentations
• Contribute to reusable solution collateral, best practices, and technical knowledge sharing

What we need to see from you

Essential

• Strong expertise in Nutanix technologies and solutions, with the ability to design and position Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions
• Solid experience in hybrid infrastructure / modern data center technologies, including virtualization, servers, storage, backup, and data protection
• Previous experience in a Presales Consultant, Solutions Specialist, Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Experience designing and positioning infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers
• Ability to independently lead technical discussions with engineering, management, and executive stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• A proactive, consultative mindset focused on solving business problems through technology

Desirable

• Nutanix certifications such as NCP, NCM, or equivalent
• Experience with Nutanix AHV, Prism, AOS and/or related Nutanix solutions
• Experience with complementary technologies and vendors such as Dell, HPE, VMware, Veeam, or Commvault
• Exposure to Professional and/or Managed Services design
• Relevant technical or partner certifications
• Experience working with international customers or distributed teams
