TOMRA Food in Valencia, Spain, is hiring a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to translate customer challenges into high‑performing processing solutions. You will work across Sales, Service, Product, Engineering, and project delivery teams to guide solution development from discovery through handover.

You bring a degree in Engineering and experience in Agri-Tech or automation, with strong Spanish and English and a readiness to travel up to 30% in the EMEA region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Automation, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Agri-Tech, food processing, automation, material handling, or equipment-related industries.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Experience supporting customers through sales, applications, service, technical support, process engineering, or solution development.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Ability to analyze operational data and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, specifications, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Experience with system design, process evaluation, and equipment integration.
• Knowledge of CAD and design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical discovery with customers to understand processes, constraints and goals.
• Map current-state processes to identify opportunities to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Develop solution concepts, configurations, layouts, technical specifications, and performance assumptions.
• Design and evaluate integrated processing systems with third-party interfaces.
• Use data to compare options and balance performance and cost.
• Plan and conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Document test methods, results, risks, assumptions, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical reviews with Sales, Service, Product, Engineering, and project delivery teams.
• Provide technical presentations and advisory sessions to illustrate value and outcomes.
• Support proposals with the technical content required for quotes and decisions.
• Ensure structured handover of awarded solutions to implementation teams.
