N26 is seeking a Backend Engineer with Full-Stack capacity to help build the Agentic Platform. You will work on AI-powered workflows, tooling, and integrations that empower hundreds of engineers and teams across the company.

The role emphasizes ownership, strong coding fundamentals, and the ability to ship practical AI-enabled features. Relocation and visa support are available for the right candidate, with a global, diverse team in Europe.

Formación

• Ownership mindset: identify gaps, propose solutions, ship autonomously.
• Strong coding fundamentals; stack is Go/TS but language is secondary to craft.
• Platform intuition: build tools to remove repeated steps for all teams.
• Experience with internal developer platforms: plugin registries, CI/CD, distribution.
• Habit of using AI coding tools daily (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot).
• GitOps/DevOps experience: practical with GitHub Actions or AWS.
• Excellent communication to explain complex systems to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Ship Agentic Workflows: design core patterns for AI agents to complete engineering tasks.
• Enable self-service AI tooling: build distribution layer for teams to publish AI capabilities.
• Connect AI agents to internal tools: integrate with issue trackers, code review, CI.
• Turn problems into repeatable AI-powered patterns for reuse.
• Define guardrails and practices for responsible AI usage at scale.
• Measure AI usage and cost; inform product direction.
