N26 is hiring a Data Engineer to join the Data Experience Team within Platform Engineering. You will build and operate scalable, secure infrastructure for our core database and data storage capabilities from a cloud-native, containerized stack.

You will work with Product & Analytics teams, implement IaC, and contribute to observability, security, and reliability initiatives. The role offers hybrid work with in-office collaboration and visa-friendly relocation for Europe.

Formación

• HANDS-ON experience maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Programming in Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
• Experience with dbt for data transformations.
• Expertise in Apache Airflow for orchestration.
• Familiarity with networking and security in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement platform solutions that improve reliability, security, and scalability of the Database Platform infrastructure.
• Apply cloud infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD best practices for operational data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with Product & Analytics teams to enable orchestration, access, and metadata management.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to roadmap delivery with high-quality code and infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshooting to maintain a stable environment.
• Maintain observability solutions to meet SLOs and availability targets.
