Job summary

DWS Group, a leading asset manager, is seeking an Operations Specialist- Performance Measurement AVP in Madrid. The role focuses on high-quality performance calculations, attribution analyses and cross-functional collaboration with Portfolio Management and Client teams.

You will contribute to AI-enabled analytics and automation, supporting governance, accuracy and timely insights across equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years in performance measurement or attribution.
• Strong knowledge of attribution methodologies including Brinson and multi-asset attribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly performance calculations and multi-level attribution.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management and internal teams on attribution.
• Explain alpha generation, allocation and risk-adjusted returns across asset classes.
• Drive methodological enhancements and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Ensure processes comply with GIPS and internal policies.
• Develop automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve analysis and accuracy.
• Investigate data-quality issues and remediation with cross-functional teams.
