Job summary

DWS Group in Madrid seeks an Operations Specialist- Operations Vendor Oversight (AVP) to oversee outsourced services within the COO division. You will govern strategic providers, develop service catalogues, SLAs and drive continuous improvement across retirement savings and related services.

The role emphasizes governance, data-driven controls, and opportunities to apply AI/machine learning to optimize workflows while ensuring risk management and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of wealth/asset management or retirement savings.
• Experience in service provider management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced services through a governance framework in line with internal policies and outsourcing requirements.
• Develop and maintain service catalogues, SLAs, and management information; monitor through risk-based controls.
• Lead service reviews, due diligence, and management escalation meetings; contribute to outsourcing reports.
• Act as the primary interface between business owners and providers, handling inquiries and escalations.
• Support project work including regulatory initiatives; analyze processes for improvements.
• Assist in budget planning, cost oversight, and validation of vendor invoices; track service credits.
• Help build the vendor oversight model for a new retirement savings platform; establish processes.
• Contribute to the Smart Middle Office by applying AI, ML, and workflow automation to reduce manual work.
