Job summary

Glovo Group is seeking an HR intern to support onboarding and day‑to‑day HR operations in Spain. You will help ensure employment documentation is compliant with Spanish law and benefits enrollment is completed, while maintaining accurate employee records.

The role involves assisting with payroll-related changes, benefits explanations, and coordination across teams. A hands‑on, proactive learner with strong Excel/Sheets skills and English/Spanish fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar.
• Previous internship or academic experience in HR is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Spanish Social Security, Spanish tax regulation, or HR administration is a plus.
• Good data management skills — Excel / Google Sheets knowledge.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Spanish.
• Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn.
• Detail-oriented — you care about accuracy and organization.
• Curious mindset and willingness to improve processes and coordination between teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new employees in Spain and help ensure they have access to the necessary resources and tools.
• Assist in ensuring employment documentation is signed according to Spanish legislation and benefits enrollment is completed.
• Support HR daily operations, including employee records, system updates, and document management.
• Assist in tracking sick leaves and ensuring our database is updated with information from Social Security and our payroll provider.
• Help explain benefits to new hires and current employees.
• Support administrative changes related to salary, benefits, promotions, bonuses, etc., and collaborate on improvements to benefits packages.
• Provide support to the People team and other departments on topics related to payroll, administration, and benefits.
• Support employees on a day‑to‑day basis and help answer questions related to benefits, payroll, and company policies.
