Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Payroll Technician to join our Human Resources team. You will own the end-to-end payroll process and labor administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance and smooth coordination with HR and Finance.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will collect inputs, manage payroll data, calculate adjustments, prepare reports, and maintain up-to-date employee records while safeguarding confidentiality and meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational training in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Solid understanding of payroll regulations.
• Experience with payroll software and time management systems.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Execute the monthly payroll process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Collect, validate, and consolidate payroll inputs (salaries, variable compensation, absences, bonuses, etc.).
• Collaborate with Time & Attendance to ensure correct payroll data.
• Calculate payroll adjustments, including overtime and absences.
• Prepare and review payroll reports, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
• Ensure correct calculation and payment of payroll taxes and social security.
• Manage payroll accounting coordination and reconciliation with Finance.
• Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records and documentation.
• Administer employment contracts, extensions, and changes.
• Prepare HR documentation (contracts, certificates, communications).
• Respond to employee payroll, contract, and administrative queries.
