Jobtailor is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll tasks across entities in Spain. You will reconcile data with an external payroll provider, collect timesheet information, and ensure accurate payroll records.

The role requires a degree in administration or finance, strong numerical skills, and fluency in English (B2+). You will handle salaries, accruals, and payroll documentation with high confidentiality and organization.

• Experience as payroll specialist for at least 1 year (internship and above).
• Degree in administration, finance or related field.
• Fluent English level (B2 or above).
• High numerical aptitude.
• Interest in accounting principles and payroll practices.
• Confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Robust organizational ability with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Handle payroll tasks for multiple entities.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all payroll related tasks in some of our entities
• Reconciling the monthly payroll received from the external payroll provider
• Collecting and reviewing time sheet data and payroll information
• Accruals, ledger entries for accounting and control of payroll files
• Updating payroll systems, including employment hires and terminations
• Calculation of salaries, overtime, commission, bonus, vacation days, etc.
• Providing monthly payroll data to the external payroll provider
• Provide all payment information, like salaries and taxes, to the Treasury team
• Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns from employees and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records on the employee database and on payroll documentation and transactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a payroll specialist for at least 1 (internship and above)
• Degree in administration, finance or related fields
• Fluent English level (b2 or above)
• High numerical aptitude
