Qualifications

• At least 12 months of documented professional experience working in a kitchen environment.
• A valid food handler certification (carnet de manipulador de alimentos).
• Fluency in Spanish to communicate with team and suppliers.
• Formal vocational culinary training in cooking and gastronomy or equivalent is highly valued.
• Additional training or knowledge in food allergens is a valuable asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items for the daily cafeteria service and craft catering packages for events.
• Place and coordinate supply orders with external food and beverage vendors.
• Manage stock levels, monitor inventory usage and ensure freshness and proper storage of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organization across all kitchen prep, cooking and storage stations.
