The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona is seeking a Helpdesk internship student to assist our IT team with resolving user requests, on-site or remotely. The role covers support to users, hardware and software installation, cloud services, meeting rooms, printers, and mobile devices.

Starting as soon as possible, the position is a paid internship with a minimum six months duration and a part- or full-time weekly schedule.

Formación

• Availability to do a university placement through your institution for at least 6 months.
• Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Knowledge of macOS.
• Knowledge of major Linux distributions, such as CentOS and Ubuntu.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of hardware installation and PC assembly.
• Knowledge of smartphones and common telephony systems.
• Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and networks (LAN/Wi‑Fi).
• Desirable: knowledge of SharePoint and Office365.

Responsabilidades

• Provide user support and troubleshoot issues.
• Administer and resolve user requests.
• Install and support computer hardware.
• Install and support computer software.
• Support cloud services.
• Assist meetings and room resources.
• Support printers and printing tasks.
• Support telephone lines and mobile devices.
• Other tasks of an accounting nature could be performed.
