The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) is seeking a Junior Helpdesk Linux (First level) technician to join its Operations Department in Barcelona. You will handle initial installation, setup and ongoing support for staff devices, phones, and collaboration tools across Windows, Linux and macOS environments.

The role emphasizes quick ticket resolution, user-account management in MS Office, and helping with AV and calendar systems. Fluency in Spanish and Catalan plus English is preferred.

Formación

• 1 year or more in a similar Helpdesk role.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and macOS installation and administration.
• Knowledge of hardware and software components of laptops/desktops.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain and deliver computers, peripherals and devices (phones/VoIP).
• Support Meeting Rooms A/V, printing and calendar systems.
• Provide technical assistance to staff via phone, email, remote or in person.
