Van der Vlist Iberia is seeking an Operational Assistant to organize transports by road and multimodal routes, primarily between Spain/Portugal and Europe. You will process data in our IT systems and keep stakeholders informed throughout execution.

You will collaborate in a small, ambitious team with training in Barcelona and the Netherlands, and you will operate under the Spanish collective agreement for goods transport.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, economics or commerce is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English, in writing and speech.
• Operational and commercial attitude, flexible and solution oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and IT systems.
• Experience in logistics is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinating and organizing national and international transport.
• Processing information in our IT system and the customer systems.
• Informing nationally and internationally involved parties (customer, suppliers, colleagues).
• Maintaining contacts with involved parties about execution of assignments.
• Investigating alternative transport options to offer best solutions.
