Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a logistics professional to manage ocean import operations, bookings, and coordination with carriers, customs, and clients. The role emphasizes English proficiency, strong organizational skills, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year related experience.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
• High level in English.

Responsibilities

• Make bookings with origin teams.
• Coordinate deliveries with service providers and clients.
• Communicate with carriers for import issues.
• Coordinate with customs team.
• Check commercial documents (packing lists, invoices, certificates).
• Ensure accurate data entry into the operational system.
• Track and Trace Ocean Import Files and reporting.
• Meet regulations and internal/external government rules.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure customers' SOPs are up to date in the DLSOPs.
• Maintain timely communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Escalate problems to Management when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service.
