Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Casino Cash Handling Supervisor to join our onboard team. You will oversee cash operations, supervise cashiers, and ensure accuracy in chip and currency handling.

You will apply customer service excellence, count cash and coins precisely, and resolve issues with guests and departments while maintaining compliance with company policies and security standards.

• One to two years supervisory cash handling experience in a customer contact position within the casino, hotel, banking, or related industry.
• Proven customer service skills to interact with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and staff to resolve problems.
• Ability to count chips and paper currency quickly and accurately.
• Ability to operate coin counters, chip mechanism, 10 key adding machine and related equipment.
• Ability to perform basic math functions with regard to counting cash, coins and preparing reconciliation reports.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.

Minimum hiring, language and physical requirements to perform the job.

One to two years supervisory cash handling experience in a customer contact position within the casino, hotel, banking, or related industry.

Proven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively.

Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.

Ability to count chips and paper currency quickly and accurately.

Ability to operate coin counters, chip mechanism, 10 key adding machine and related equipment. Ability to perform basic math functions with regard to counting chips, cash, coins, and preparing reconciliation reports.

Ability to learn and utilize knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function.

Ability to supervise an international team of cashiers in a positive and productive manner by motivating, developing and managing employees as they work.

Ability to utilize and administer the disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling to improve performance or recommend termination of employment.

Thorough working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to

navigate within a variety software package such as Excel and Word.

Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
