Chubb Ltd. is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician – Outwards (Swedish & Spanish Speaker) in Madrid to support complex multinational programs. You will manage a diverse portfolio, collaborate with brokers, and ensure premium booking with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

Ideal candidates have English, Swedish and Spanish language proficiency and a background in underwriting support or insurance. Strong Excel skills and customer-centric problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional language skills in English, Swedish and Spanish.
• Previous experience in underwriting support is a plus.
• Insurance background is preferred.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver and improve quality.
• Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with Underwriters, overseas offices, and other Chubb staff, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Manage workloads in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Work within Chubb ethical and compliance standards to ensure quality and service.
• Ensure multinational workbooks are prepared, maintained, and completed per Global Services standards.
• Assist with ongoing projects for improvements to the Global Services Department.
• Perform incidental work outside day-to-day requirements as priorities shift.
