Job summary
Chubb seeks an Underwriter Operations Technician – Outwards in Madrid to support multinational programs. You will manage a diverse portfolio, coordinate with brokers and network partners, and ensure premium booking and program maintenance with precision.
Requirements include professional English and another European language, plus Excel proficiency. The role offers a 12-month FTC, with some home-working days and benefits.
Qualifications
- Professional language skills in English, with an additional European language.
- Previous underwriting support experience is a plus.
- Insurance background preferred.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and build relationships with Underwriters, overseas offices, and other Chubb staff.
- Manage workloads in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Work within the framework of Chubb ethical and compliance standards.
- Ensure multinational workbooks are prepared and maintained to Global Services standards.
- Assist with ongoing projects for improvements to the Global Services Department.
- Perform incidental work outside day-to-day requirements.
