Chubb European Group Ltd. is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician – Outwards (Swedish & Spanish Speaker) in Madrid, Spain. This 12-month FTC role focuses on supporting complex multinational programs, maintaining premium bookings, and engaging with brokers and network partners.

Strong English, Swedish and Spanish are required, with additional European languages seen as a plus. The role emphasizes relationship-building, adherence to SLAs, and collaboration within a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, Swedish and Spanish.
• Any additional European language (Dutch/German/Italian/French/Danish) would be a plus.
• Previous underwriting support experience is a plus.
• Insurance background preferred.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong customer service and detail orientation.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with Underwriters, overseas offices, and other Chubb staff.
• Manage workloads according to Service Level Agreements with strong time management.
• Adhere to Chubb ethical and compliance standards and maintain quality/service standards.
• Prepare, maintain, and complete multinational workbooks per Global Services Department standards.
• Assist with ongoing improvement projects for the Global Services Department.
• Perform incidental work as priorities change or new requirements arise.
