Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an IT Desktop Engineer to support the Europe team from Madrid. You will install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operate Windows/Office 365, and collaborate with global IT to deliver reliable services.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in desktop IT, strong troubleshooting skills, and fluency in English and Spanish. The role focuses on hands-on support with ongoing improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT desktop support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, networking and Active Directory.
• Experience with scripting or programming (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript).
• Familiarity with automation tools and platforms (Power Automate, Zapier, APIs).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop support for hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and printers.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity and domain environments.
• Manage user accounts and password resets in Active Directory.
• Coordinate with global IT teams to deliver projects.
• Respond to tickets promptly and ensure resolution before closure.
