Nextpower in Madrid, Spain is seeking an IT Desktop Engineer for Europe to provide day-to-day IT support, installation and configuration of desktop hardware, operating systems, software, and applications for the Europe team.

In a fast‑paced environment you will balance hands‑on delivery with longer‑term improvements, acting as a local IT partner to executives and staff while coordinating with global IT to ensure reliable, secure and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT desktop support experience.
• Proficient in Windows, Office 365, networking and AD.
• Experience scripting (Python, PowerShell, JS) and automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop hardware, deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, Office 365, Box.com, Okta and domain environments; manage devices.
• Support executive users and provide day‑to‑day desktop assistance.
• Develop and support workstations, printers, and related IT assets.
• Respond to tickets promptly and ensure proper resolution and documentation.
