Job summary

Six Senses Quexigal Palace is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the Chef de Cuisine in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. You will contribute to menu development, maintain high standards of quality, and ensure compliance with food safety and sustainability.

Fluent in English and Spanish with at least three years of kitchen experience in luxury hospitality, you will lead plating, portion control and train kitchen hosts while upholding brand values and local sourcing.

Qualifications

• 3 years kitchen experience in a full-service/outlet or comparable setting.
• Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Cuisine and ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Contribute to menu development and ensure quality and consistency of dishes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and safety standards.
