Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking an Event Rooms Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and manage accommodation arrangements for groups and events hosted at the hotel. You will be the main contact for all room-related requirements from group confirmation through post-stay follow-up, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

The role involves managing group room blocks, VIP arrangements, and collaboration with Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Revenue, Finance, Sales, and Events

Formación

• Previous experience in group reservations, rooms coordination, event planning, front office, reservations, or hotel operations is highly preferred.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or a similar high-service environment is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple groups and room blocks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding all accommodation-related requirements from group confirmation through post-stay follow-up.
• Manage group room blocks, rooming lists, reservations, amendments, cancellations, extensions, and accommodation changes throughout the planning process.
• Coordinate VIP guests, upgrades, amenities, accessibility requirements, and special accommodation requests.
• Monitor room block pickup and availability, proactively communicating risks, changes, and opportunities to relevant teams.
• Coordinate closely with Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Revenue, Finance, and Events teams to ensure seamless accommodation operations.
• Manage group arrivals and departures, including check-in procedures, key distribution, hospitality desks, luggage arrangements, and operational requirements.
• Ensure room rates, billing instructions, payment arrangements, and contractual conditions are accurately reflected in hotel systems.
• Support revenue optimization through upgrades, room extensions, and additional room-night opportunities when appropriate.
• Manage last-minute changes and operational challenges with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Complete post-stay follow-up, including billing accuracy, outstanding accommodation matters, and guest feedback.
