Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking a Steward to join the culinary team. The role focuses on washing and maintaining cleanliness of utensils, dishes and kitchen areas, while upholding hygiene standards to support the kitchen team.

Flexibility for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with attention to detail and safe handling of cleaning products emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Basic cleaning skills and knowledge of cleaning products.
• Attention to detail to ensure utensils and surfaces are clean.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Clean dishes, cutlery, glassware, and utensils while following hygiene standards.
• Kitchen cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, utensils, and equipment to meet hygiene standards.
• Waste management: Properly classify and dispose of waste according to regulations.
• Kitchen organization: Keep utensils and equipment organized and in good condition.
• Hygiene and safety compliance: Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols in the work environment.
• Common areas maintenance: Keep common areas and storage spaces clean and organized.
