Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at the Mallorca property. You will coordinate daily housekeeping operations and ensure room readiness, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service across departments.

The role requires 1–2 years' luxury hotel housekeeping experience, strong English and Spanish, and flexibility for shifts, including evenings and weekends. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
• Experience in coordination or administrative role preferred.
• Proficiency in HMS and Alice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room Status & Availability: Update HMS/Alice, monitor room readiness, and track OOO/OOS rooms.
• VIP & Guest Requests: Coordinate VIP rooms, arrivals, departures, special requests, and guest incidents.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Valet, Guest Relations, Butler Service, and Security.
• Administrative Support & Reporting: Prepare daily operational reports, manage correspondence, and maintain departmental documentation.
• Lost & Found & Supplies: Oversee Lost & Found procedures and housekeeping supply control.
• Operational Follow-up: Monitor maintenance issues, room release times, and incident resolution.
• Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to hotel procedures, internal audits, and Forbes Five-Star standards.
