Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking a Steward to support the culinary team with dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. The role emphasizes hygiene, organization, and adherence to safety standards in a luxury hotel setting on Mallorca.

Experience in similar positions is preferred. Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, is expected to meet hotel needs and ensure exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Basic cleaning skills and hygienic cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Clean dishes, cutlery, glassware and utensils while following hygiene standards.
• Kitchen cleanliness: Maintain surfaces, utensils, and equipment to meet hygiene and food safety standards.
• Waste management: Classify and dispose of waste according to regulations.
• Kitchen organization: Keep utensils and equipment organized and in good condition.
• Hygiene and safety compliance: Follow hygiene and safety protocols in the work environment.
• Common areas maintenance: Keep common areas, hallways and storage spaces clean and organized.
