Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to join the Housekeeping Team. Based at the Mallorca property, you will coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensure room readiness, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

Requirements include 1–2 years in luxury hotel housekeeping, proficiency with HMS and Alice, and strong English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment, preferably in a coordination or administrative role.
• Proficiency in HMS and Alice hotel systems.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Update HMS/Alice to monitor room readiness and track OOO/OOS rooms.
• Coordinate VIP rooms, arrivals, departures, special requests, and guest incidents.
• Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Valet, Guest Relations, Butler Service and Security.
• Prepare daily operational reports and maintain departmental documentation.
• Oversee Lost & Found procedures and housekeeping supply control.
• Monitor maintenance issues, room release times, and incident resolution.
• Ensure adherence to hotel procedures and Forbes Five-Star standards.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Housekeeping Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily housekeeping operations, ensuring room readiness, maintaining effective interdepartmental communication, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

As Housekeeping Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Room Status & Availability: Update HMS/Alice, monitor room readiness, and track OOO/OOS rooms.
• VIP & Guest Requests: Coordinate VIP rooms, arrivals, departures, special requests, and guest incidents.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Valet, Guest Relations, Butler Service, and Security.
• Administrative Support & Reporting: Prepare daily operational reports, manage correspondence, and maintain departmental documentation.
• Lost & Found & Supplies: Oversee Lost & Found procedures and housekeeping supply control.
• Operational Follow-up: Monitor maintenance issues, room release times, and incident resolution.
• Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to hotel procedures, internal audits, and Forbes Five-Star standards.

As Housekeeping Coordinator, we expect from you:

Experience and education

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment, preferably in a coordination or administrative role.

Technical Skills

• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems, preferably HMS and Alice.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to coordinate room status, VIP arrangements, guest requests, and interdepartmental communication.
• Knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards and guest service expectations.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Well-groomed appearance and adherence to the hotel's grooming standards.
• An independent, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
