Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking a Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, delivering a personalised guest experience with friendliness and efficiency.

You will set up the coffee station, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and support other outlets during service. Experience in luxury hospitality is desirable, and teamwork is essential to uphold MOHG standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in bar service or similar hospitality role.
• Experience in luxury hospitality desirable.
• Ability to communicate well with colleagues and superiors.
• Be a team player; proactively cooperating and supporting colleagues.
• Listen to every guest and observe body language to delight and satisfy every guest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, tea, and beverages according to hotel standards and presentation guidelines.
• Set up the coffee station and daily mise en place; stock and organise supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee and barista area; sanitise surfaces and equipment.
• Prepare beverages with consistency and proper technique, including espresso, milk steaming, latte art, and teas.
• Provide support across outlets; assist with coffee service and general operations.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory for daily usage; monitor stock levels.
