Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Project Manager – Meetings dedicated to a Life Science client. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week at the client’s Paseo de la Castellana office.

You will plan and manage events from venue sourcing to execution, coordinating with clients and suppliers to deliver flawless experiences across destinations. The ideal candidate has experience in meeting/program planning, Life Sciences clients, and proficiency in MS Office with

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of client events from sourcing venues to logistics
• Manage program timelines and client financial controls
• Provide strategic advice on best practices, compliance, and cost savings for events
• Create and communicate budgets with final reconciled figures
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage relationships to ensure high service levels
• Conduct venue research, budgeting, and manage e-RFP processes
• Track attendee registrations, manage hotel room blocks and cancellations
• Build client websites for information collection and registrations, ensuring compliance
• Meet deadlines for reporting, audits and supplier billing compliance
• Assist in developing SOPs and best practices to improve operations across regions
