News Corporation in Barcelona is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the architecture and delivery of next‑gen web, mobile, and AI platforms for premium Dow Jones brands. You will collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to define and build scalable solutions that empower both B2C and B2B products.

You will lead architecture efforts, optimize release processes, and mentor teams while partnering across Dow Jones and News Corp to deliver high‑quality software.

Formación

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2-4 years in a lead role.
• Experience with B2C/B2B digital products and online subscription platforms.
• Strong JS, CSS, and modern web stack expertise.
• Experience with AI tools to improve productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement architecture models and standards.
• Collaborate with product to manage technical scope and roadmap.
• Lead deployments to production and ensure reliability.
• Mentor engineers and delegate tasks to achieve milestones.
• Design development standards for services and components.
