Dow Jones Barcelona is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, architect and deliver a platform supporting web, mobile and AI across B2C and B2B offerings. You will lead engineers, partner with product, and ensure scalable, reliable products with strong deployment practices.

About the Role: This role is within the Dow Jones Platform Team, responsible for building next‑gen web, mobile and AI platforms for premium Dow Jones brands across our B2C and B2B portfolio. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, and product designers to define, architect, and build the platform that will drive product innovation across Dow Jones. Lead Software Engineers focus on designing, architecting, building and ensuring the delivery of applications and services to the business. They continuously strive to improve the release and development processes to ensure reliable and high quality products. They champion the product scalability, usability, reliability, functionality and performance‑related aspects of the system. They scale themselves by delegating effectively to ensure tasks are completed as specified. They are proactive in identifying and clearing roadblocks for the team.
