Job summary

Elastic Security is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a globally distributed team working on endpoint protections, visibility, and machine learning inside Elastic Defend. You will mentor senior engineers, set the direction, and partner with product managers to deliver high-quality features.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, architectural review, and collaboration with customers and researchers to advance security at scale across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Qualifications

• People leadership experience managing senior technical individual contributors on a globally distributed team.
• Substantial hands-on security research experience before moving into leadership, analyzing attacker TTPs and building protections.
• Strong operating system internals knowledge, kernel and user mode, with Windows depth prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team across endpoint internals, prevention engineering, and ML.
• Own the roadmap and drive delivery, invest in new visibility, balance efficacy, performance, and stability across millions of endpoints.
• Connect team work to Elastic Security and unlock new detection and protection capabilities across the product.
• Direct the team's machine learning work, guiding model development and data quality.
• Drive cross‑platform protection parity across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
