Job summary

Datadog’s Security design team is searching for a senior product design manager to lead design across our security products, shaping an industry-leading experience for security practitioners who catch threats early, stop exposures, and reduce risk.

You’ll guide designers across cloud, code and data security, own the design, drive excellence, and collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to push roadmaps forward. This hybrid role fits Datadog’s collaborative culture and global reach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design with leadership of high-performing teams.
• Strong communicator with executive/stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience guiding complex B2B/B2C or security products.

Responsibilities

• Lead design direction across the team’s products, and hold the bar for design excellence end to end: interactions, visual detail, consistency and cohesion.
• You're in the work. Run critiques, give direct and useful feedback, and push the team toward bolder, more opinionated solutions rather than safe ones.
• Coach and grow designers across our Paris, Madrid and New York offices, helping each of them do the best work of their careers.
• Help define a security design system built on top of Datadog's existing components, with the security practitioner's workflows in mind.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to evolve cross-platform thinking, shape roadmaps, and to set how the three disciplines work together day to day.
• Take accountability for the product and business outcomes your team's design work influences.
• Bring AI fluency to how your team works, from how design gets explored and validated to how it gets shipped.
