Job summary

ThreatDown is seeking a Principal Software Developer (MacOS) to join our team and deliver enterprise-grade endpoint protection for macOS. You will work on new products, contribute to core architecture, and collaborate across teams to stay ahead of evolving threats.

You will design, implement, and optimize macOS services, frameworks, and integrations, leveraging Swift/Obj-C, System Extensions, and Xcode tooling to ship high-quality security solutions to thousands of users.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Object-Oriented development practices.
• Experience with Apple System Extensions and Network Extension frameworks.
• Strong Swift and/or Objective-C coding skills.
• Backend development on macOS including data management and networking.
• Ability to debug and optimize macOS apps for performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and exciting products in the fight against malware.
• Build enterprise-grade endpoint protection for macOS.
• Design and develop tools to support ThreatDown initiatives.
• Collect and process data and metrics to track threats.
• Support peers with documentation, unit tests, and code reviews.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to meet goals.
