YOA Yacht Crew in Barcelona is seeking an experienced, hands-on Engineer to join a 60m motor yacht undergoing a major shipyard refit from October through May 2027. The role is hands-on, with ownership of individual projects and the ability to work autonomously.

Candidates should have Sole or Chief Engineer experience or extensive yacht/marine engineering background, with a track record of integrating and servicing large yacht machinery and systems.

Formación

• Experienced, practical and technically confident.
• Able to work autonomously and problem-solve without constant direction.
• Comfortable taking ownership of individual projects.
• Hands-on and happy to get stuck into all aspects of a major refit.
• Experienced with larger yacht machinery and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on role on a 60m yacht during shipyard refit.
• Stripping out systems and installing generators.
• General engineering and refit projects on 50m+ yachts.
• Servicing machinery and systems onboard during the refit.
