Oyster Yachts Limited, based in Barcelona (Port Premià), seeks a Senior Technician/Engineer to support maintenance, repair and refit of Oyster yachts up to 90 ft. You will handle steering, propulsion, mechanical and plumbing systems, delivering high-quality servicing and projects with the Oyster Service team.

This hands-on role requires strong marine engineering knowledge, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or in a team, while upholding safety and workmanship standards.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience within the marine engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge across marine steering, propulsion, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Experience servicing, repairing and refitting marine systems on yachts or boats.
• Strong mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high workmanship standards.
• Ability to organise own workload and meet deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Team player with Oyster’s “one team” culture.
• Tidy and organised with pride in clean/professional environment.

Responsabilidades

• Service and repair marine steering systems and components.
• Carry out propulsion system work including shaft removals, bearings and related servicing.
• Overhaul and refit engine rooms and service marine engines.
• Service seacocks and pumps; maintain marine systems.
• Plan workload and ensure deadlines are met with the service team.
• Produce accurate technical reports and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Collaborate with Oyster Service team to complete projects.
