Destinus in Madrid is seeking a Head of Bid Management to own our end-to-end bid process, from qualification to post-bid analysis. You will report to the Head of Commercial Operations and build a disciplined, scalable bid function to convert opportunities into contracts.

You will lead a high-performing Bid Management team and collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, and senior leadership to ensure compliant, compelling proposals that win strategic

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
10+ years in bid/proposal management within defense or aerospace.
Experience leading complex, high-value bids with multi-stakeholder teams.
Understanding of defense procurement processes (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
Proven ability to build and scale bid teams.
Excellent written and verbal English; other European languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

Own and improve the bid management strategy, processes, governance, and tools across Destinus.
Lead the complete bid lifecycle from opportunity assessment to post-bid review.
Build and develop a growing Bid Management team and coordinate cross-functional bid teams.
Translate customer requirements into clear bid strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
Ensure proposals are compliant, compelling, and commercially sound.
Establish quality control and manage bid resources across multiple bids.
Prepare bids for internal review and bidding committee approval.
Develop reporting on bid costs, timelines, and conversion rates.
