Royal Caribbean Group seeks a CDP Baker to oversee bakery operations onboard, ensuring production, quality and presentation of bread for daily menus while meeting USPH standards.

You will forecast production, manage waste, supervise a diverse team, coach staff, and coordinate with the Executive Chef for daily recaps and inspections. Shipboard role with hotel-style responsibilities, requiring culinary expertise and strong leadership.

Formación

• Two years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale hospitality (hotel, resort, cruise ship).
• Culinary school degree required.
• Strong management in multicultural and dynamic environments.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth operation and control of the Bakery Shop and daily production.
• Direct, coach, supervise and evaluate direct reports with Head Baker.
• Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Prepare production forecasts and record leftovers to control costs.
• Supervise bread display setup in buffets.
• Ensure compliance with USPH rules and regulations daily.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness per Executive Chef’s schedule; minimize equipment damage.
• Prepare bakery for USPH inspections by ship’s management or inspectors.
• Requisition and transport items from main stores to bakery shop.
• Ensure recipes/master list and yields align with company standards.
• Complete daily consumption recap as required by Executive Chef.
• Ensure bakery staff arrive on time and wear proper uniforms; maintain appearance.
