Arup in Madrid is seeking a Landscape Architecture Trainee to gain hands-on experience on transformative urban and landscape projects. You will work with experienced designers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing from concept through detailed design.

This role offers growth in technical, creative, and professional skills while promoting sustainable, inclusive, and resilient places. We welcome graduates with a passion for landscape architecture and sustainable design.

Formación

• Graduate with passion for landscape architecture and sustainable design.
• Knowledge of landscape design principles and climate-responsive design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, GIS.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design and delivery of landscape, public realm, and urban development projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in the preparation of drawings, visualisations, reports, and presentations using industry-standard design software.
• Contribute to site analysis, landscape assessments, sustainability strategies, and nature-based design solutions.
• Participate in project workshops, internal design reviews, and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and offices to develop innovative and integrated design solutions.

The Opportunity

Join our Landscape Architecture team and gain hands-on experience on projects that are transforming cities and communities. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced designers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to real projects from concept development through to detailed design. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical, creative, and professional skills while learning how landscape architecture contributes to creating more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient places.

As a Landscape Architecture Trainee at Arup, you will:

• Support the design and delivery of landscape, public realm, and urban development projects within multidisciplinary teams.
