Arup in Spain is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Trainee to support the design and delivery of cutting-edge mechanical systems for building projects. You will join a multidisciplinary team and gain exposure to national and international assignments while learning from experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are current Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology students, fluent in English and Spanish, with an interest in sustainable installations and teamwork.

Formación

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology Engineering with a mechanics specialty.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Support the team in preparing calculations, reports, plans and technical specifications for national and international projects.
• Join a team with extensive experience in mechanical installations.
• Participate in unique projects and engage from the start in design tasks.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to participate in the design and delivery of cutting-edge mechanical systems for a variety of building projects. You will provide support in shaping sustainable built environments, collaborating with a talented team and working with prestigious clients.

As a Mechanical Engineer Trainee at Arup, you will:

• Support the team in the preparation of calculations, reports, plans and technical specifications for a variety of national and international projects.
• Have the possibility of joining a team of professionals who accumulate extensive experience in the field of mechanical installations.
• Participate in unique projects, as well as getting involved from the first moment in specific design tasks.

Does this role inspire you?

• We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic that will actively support our Mechanical Engineering team in Arup in Spain. Ideally, you’ll bring:
• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology Engineering with a specialty in mechanics.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish skills.
• Interest in the field of mechanical installations and the technical field.
• Interest in teamwork.

Bonus if you have:

• Enrolled in a Master's degree related to the field of mechanical installations and/or sustainability will be an advantage.
• Experience in a position with similar responsibilities.

Conditions

• Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
• Immediate incorporation
• Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
• Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
• Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
