Arup Madrid is offering a Landscape Architecture Trainee role, inviting graduates to gain hands-on experience from concept to detailed design. You will work with experienced designers and multidisciplinary teams on projects transforming cities and communities, developing technical, creative, and professional skills in a collaborative, sustainability-driven environment.

Formación

• Currently studying Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, Environmental Design.
• Knowledge of landscape design principles and climate-responsive design is a plus.
• Proficiency in one or more industry design tools (AutoCAD, Adobe CC, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, GIS).

Responsabilidades

• Support the design and delivery of landscape, public realm, and urban development projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in the preparation of drawings, visualisations, reports, and presentations using industry-standard design software.
• Contribute to site analysis, landscape assessments, sustainability strategies, and nature-based design solutions.
• Participate in project workshops, internal design reviews, and client/stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and offices to develop integrated design solutions.

The Opportunity

Join our Landscape Architecture team and gain hands‑on experience on projects that are transforming cities and communities. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced designers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to real projects from concept development through to detailed design. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical, creative, and professional skills while learning how landscape architecture contributes to creating more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient places.

As a Landscape Architecture Trainee at Arup, you will:

• Support the design and delivery of landscape, public realm, and urban development projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in the preparation of drawings, visualisations, reports, and presentations using industry-standard design software.
• Contribute to site analysis, landscape assessments, sustainability strategies, and nature-based design solutions.
• Participate in project workshops, internal design reviews, and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and offices to develop innovative and integrated design solutions.
