Arup in Spain seeks an Urban Designer to join its City Planning & Design team, contributing to masterplanning and urban design across projects that balance social, economic and environmental dimensions.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists and lawyers on cutting-edge urban development proposals and feasibility analyses. A hybrid work model is offered with opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Studies in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in described functions.
• Interest in urban planning, strategic consultancy and land development.
• Knowledge of CAD and ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop.
• High level of English (C1).
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects with strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in urban planning projects, including conceptualization of urban development proposals, drafting and processing of planning instruments, processing of urbanization projects, urban feasibility analysis.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists and economists.
• Develop understanding of urban complexity and engage in continuous training.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to be part of the City Planning & Design team, an area that is dedicated, among other things, to the planning and development of cities, seeking a balance between the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and always providing the components of sustainability and innovation to all development proposals. You will join a dynamic team and will participate in all cutting-edge projects carried out in the Department.

As An Urban Designer At Arup, You Will

• Participate in urban planning projects, including conceptualization of urban development proposals, drafting and processing of planning instruments, processing of urbanization projects, urban feasibility analysis, etc.
• Be exposed to strategic urban projects and multidisciplinary teams that typically include architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists, economists and lawyers.
• Have a better understanding of urban complexity in an environment continuous training.

• Studies in Architecture or Civil Engineering or related studies
• 3-5 years of experience in described functions
• Special interest in urban planning, strategic consultancy, planning, processing, and land development
• It will be essential to have knowledge of CAD and ArcGIS
• Knowledge of Adobe package (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• High level of English (C1)
• Concern for working on multidisciplinary projects and interest in sustainability and innovation
• High organizational skills

• Advanced knowledge in GIS
• Advanced knowledge in CAD
• Rhinoceros Knowledge
• Grasshopper Knowledge
